Buddy Program

At the beginning of each school year, each student entering Foundation is allocated a Senior buddy who has been carefully selected to assist in the transition process to ‘Big School’. The  Foundation and Year Senior buddies spend time together. They may complete an art and craft activity, have a shared lunch or participate in developmental play.

Students in Years 1 and 2 are also buddied with an older student.  Opportunities are made throughout the year for the students to work with their ‘buddies’ on various planned activities.

The buddy program strives to ensure that each student in our learning community feels connected.
