Dear Parents and Guardians,
Today with great excitement, we welcome our students back to school.
The children back today have come in settled and are working well.
There will be a period of time for all students to transition to the regulation of school life. Our teachers are here to support you and we welcome all communication as issues arise so we can work together to create solutions for improving student outcomes.
Road Repair
The road repair is nearly finished. Through feedback with parents it is apparent we are adding some more signage to help with the disabled car parks. This will help keep the access to the disabled car park clear. I ask you all to not park in the arrowed area at drop off in the morning, as the cars pull out of the exit in the car park it is unsafe for children to exit the car. We will have signage to direct the parking areas in the coming weeks. Thank you for all feedback in this area.
First Eucharist
The 1st Eucharist preparation and celebration is going ahead. The preparation meetings will be online
Tuesday 26th October
Wednesday 10th October
And the 1st Eucharist Celebration will be held on Friday 19th November.
Students participating in this celebration have information given at school.
Uniforms
Again, don’t forget that there are plenty of new old-style uniforms which will be part of our uniform for the next three years please send your orders to uniforms@shmorwell.catholic.edu.au
Adding to this the eduthreads company has informed me that our new uniform is now online for orders.

The 2022 Grade 6’s (this year’s Grade 5) will have the opportunity to engage in some decisions around the design of their Grade 6 T-shirt in the coming weeks. It will be printed on the new uniform.
COVID
As we are managing to live with COVID in Latrobe City, there are many questions that families may need answered. We will have a parent information meeting on zoom at 6:30pm on Wednesday 27th November next week.
We will talk about what will happen if we have a COVID case at school. About the extracurricular plans we are endeavouring to book in before the end of the year.
Again a special thank you to all our beautiful children and all parents for continuing to place one-step in front of the other during the lock-down of 2021.
Blessings to all,
Anne-Marie Robb
