123 Magic & Emotion Coaching Parenting Program
Hello.
My name is Mark Brookes and I have been running the fantastic “123 Magic & Emotion Coaching Parenting Program” for a number of years now with great success. The program is specifically targeted to help parents of 2-12 year old and is totally free of charge.
In the interests of supporting parents in the Gippsland region we are very happy to offer this program in a new online format.
It is a 5 week program and the group runs 5 Thursdays consecutively from 12.00 to 2.30pm, starting on Thursday 27/5/2021.
I would really appreciate any help you could provide in getting this information out to any parents who may need it, whether they be struggling with parenting during these trying times or just wanting to build on what is already working.
Please find attached an application form and further information for our upcoming program.
Thank you very much for your time and helping to spread the word.
Warmest regards

Friday 21st May, 2021
Dear Parents and Carers,
The last two weeks have brought lots of activity in the school. Our hot food lunches have continued to be a great hit. The children sit respectfully in class and outside when eating them. On Friday we have the feel of a yummy picnic lunch in the yard. We are so grateful to LA Take-way for the service.
Yesterday we had a School Advisory Committee meeting with a brand-new team. The School Advisory Committee liaise with the principal and staff to voice the thoughts of the parents and the community. We will meet twice a term to discuss up and coming issues and the general running of the school. This committee will discuss items like planned fund raising, uniform changes, school repair and educational updates. The team is made up of 8 people, two representing both the parish and the school, the principal and a teacher representing the educational focus, and four parents. We welcome our parent and parish representatives, Bruno Gallicchio, Melissa Szpura, Craig Livingstone, Anthony Heinemann, Ruwan Karunamuni and Erin Tanti.
Today our whole school attended Mass to celebrate the beginning of Catholic Education week and will now regularly have class, and special group Masses, as COVID allows us to. Each term we will place these dates on the website calendar and send out an app notice during the week.
With Catholic Education Week beginning today, we welcome our new 2022 Prep families and invite them to our Open Day tours on Monday. Throughout next week the children will participate in activities to celebrate learning in Catholic Education.
Look out for our notifications on Facebook, we are working at putting up our interesting activities and capturing the wonderful discoveries the children have at school. Please, Follow, Like and Share.
Please enjoy the blessings that a weekend can bring with your family,
Blessings to you all
Anne-Marie
In the Senior Unit we have started loads of new topics such as time, data and algebra, these consist of forming patterns, collecting data and creating charts and pie graphs.
In the Junior Unit they have been learning about creating patterns using different manipulatives such as uni fix blocks, teddy-bears and shapes! The main area of interest has been in the inquiry unit, looking at the topic of impact. The juniors have been creating diagrams of a local industry such as the APM Power Plant and the Water Station.
